Deep shades of purple set the tone for this wildflower painting titled "Texas GlowFest." When it came time to title this work, the artist was reminded of a balloon "glow fest" she had once attended. Spectators gathered in the evening hours to witness a grouping of hot-air balloons, fully inflated but securely tie down. The balloons illuminated against the Texas night sky as the burners were ignited just as these wildflowers glow in the dark.
